FAMILY WINS VICTORY IN COURT RULING FOR THE MURDER OF INTERNATIONAL REGGAE STAR : LUCKY DUBE...RIP
Today in Johannesburg South Africa, three men were found guilty of Murder. The victim, the acclaimed, international, Reggae Artist Lucky Dube lives on through his conscious message of wisdom and non-violence. At the young age of 43, Dube's life was snuffed out from him in front of his two children in October of 2007.
According to a report made to the New York Times, the crime rate in South Africa is alarming. "In 2006, it was about eight times more than the United States’ and 20 times higher than Western Europe’s."
Rather than dwell on all of the negative elements of this horrific incident, Yardrock would like our readers to take a moment and remember Lucky Dube by celebrating his life and his music.

"Respect me, for who I am
And not what I am
Nobody even cares about your dollars
Nobody even cares about your bling bling
Give love to those who give you love
Love to those who hate you
Bless even those who curse you, yeah"
